I’ve decided to give up on the four components and also give up
on my four orientation theory, though I won’t get around to
editing them out of my Salmon on the Thorns web page until
after my Ph.D. proposal defence. But for now I am not giving
up on my theory that I am similar to some past major pagan
and non-pagan religious figures including Taliesin. I do intend
to do a bit more library research on the subject after my
Ph.D. proposal defence, even though a date for that has not
yet been set. (In the last week I’ve been procrastinating a
good deal but I plan to do some serious editing of the proposal
tomorrow.)

In a few minutes I will head around the corner to visit my
friends the Fidlers from midnight to 4 a.m. or so.

In a way, I'm sure you ARE a lot like many major religious figures. You are
almost pathologically truthful, and not afraid to tell anyone how you feel
in case they might think you're bonkers. Right or wrong, that takes a lot
of guts. And since none of your 'non-traditional' interpretations of
metaphysics seem to involve hurting anyone or even any quasi-intelligent
animals, you have my full support.
... I plan to do some serious editing of the proposal tomorrow.
It sounds like this project is coming along okay.

But it is a good idea to take a break once in a while. Have one for me. In
fact, I'm raising a wee glass of whisky right now to get up the strength to
face the chilling "vents d'hiver" with my little dog for her bed-time
pee-pee walk.

Here's to you!

I had a few tonight as well; in fact I had seven 5% beer and a few
puffs of marijuana but feel pretty clear-headed. Cheers!

I’m still reasonably clear-headed today, but did suffer a bit from
the effects of second-hand smoke (I was in a 2m by 4m room
with the door closed with three smokers from a bit after midnight
to a bit before 6 a.m.). But I think I will try from now on to
stick to the limit that I told my psychiatrist and kidney specialist,
which is two pints of 5% beer, which works out to about
four light (4%) bottles of beer, twice a week. And of course I don’t
drink at all from 1--9 days before full moon, and I don’t touch
marijuana during waxing moon.

I’ve also decided to stop worrying about coming out of the
low years. On my current medication regimen I am pretty
much the same as I was before my first manic episode of
1991.

My giving up on the four components and on worrying about
coming out of the low years will mean that I will be praying
less often to my eight main deities, but I won’t renounce
them entirely.

It turned out to be 6 a.m.

I still haven’t entirely given up on Sarah McLachlan yet though, even
though it is almost 21 years since I have had a sign of interest from
her. For now she is still my default crush until someone else
comes along.

Well, she's still pretty cute.

There is a newsgirl here that melts my heart every time I see her. But she
doesn't get that much air time now, and I notice that I'm starting to get
really enamoured with one of the CNN newsgirls. I think I'm watching too
much of the Trump Circus Channel.

If she contacted me would the crush get stronger? Not if she told
me to drop it.

This is what I have been trying to tell you these past few years. Of
course, because I am not a strong bipolar, I lack the context to be able to
describe it properly to someone who is. Essentially, 'normal' will never
feel as good as the manic phases of your bipolar experiences.

I think that we all have fluctuations in our mood; bipolars just have a
wider range. But we also have some sort of 'automatic gain control' to
dampen out the fluctuations.

Also, it looks to me as though your current mix of meds is doing a good job
to support a proper balance between getting rid of your delusions and
turning you into a boring predictable cog of the machinery of society.

Don't ever renounce them completely. They are part of what you are.

I have also given up on perineum click divination, even in cases
where I get a spontaneous click and in the past would have
tried to divine what it meant.
