As I have written before, I often experience occurrences of the number 55,
which in Roman numerals is LV, which I take to mean LOVE. Last week I
experienced it twice, first when I bought a birthday card for my niece and
then with tax it came to a number ending in .55, second when I withdrew some
money at a bank machine and my balance came down to a number ending in .55.
Then today a friend emailed me and asked me to change a check, from a
company, for $35 for her after I got home. Then after I got home and she
dropped by I gave her the $35 and she gave me the check, and I noticed it was
for $35.55, and she said the $0.55 was my tip. So it is my lucky day, not
just because of that, but also because I uploaded the final version of my
Ph.D. thesis to the library earlier today, and am now cleared to graduate on
May 30.

No, it was a cheque from a company, she didn’t make it out.
(It was a cheque from Avondale Music made out to her husband
Jim Fidler, who is an adept celtic, reggae, and rock musician
and music producer).

Ha. I’ve never heard of that.

And today is 05 05 (May 5).

Tonight I am trying the four components again, this time
invoking all eight of my eight main deities.

Supposedly only the subset of the four components material
that is unanimously passed by all eight will be activated.

I’m not going to post any tracking/updates of this.

I just heard on CBC radio news that this Cinco de Mayo is the 155th
anniversary of a victory of the Mexican Army over the French. But according
to Wikipedia it is the 156th.

The actual numbers for LOVE is 69. You need to correct that statement, which is in error.

What IS you actual bank balance, ending in .55? Is it $1.55??

Also, let us know about this "graduation," which, as I suspect, is something involved with letting you into a larger cage.

Thank you and goodnite...

Today I had another significant 55 occurrence.

I went to Chapters bookstore to exchange a book my brother
had given me which I already had (God Created the Integers,
edited by Stephen Hawking). I didn’t note the price exactly
but knew it was around $36 (it was actually $37.50 minus a
$1.88 discount) so I planned to get a book that was a bit
more than $36 in exchange. After some browsing I eventually
chose The Future of Humanity by Michio Kaku, which was
$39.95 (Canadian dollars). The difference was $4.33 which
with 5% tax added came to exactly $4.55.

Friday I went to buy an extension cord at Home Hardware and
browsed through several types before settling on a 4.5 m
indoor three-prong extension. Then with tax it came to
$19.54 which was rounded off to $19.55 (since we have
no pennies in Canada now).

You should not be using after-rounding amounts to look for instances of
'55' in your life, because there is a 5 to 1 bias (from 5 instances
[3,4,5,6,7] to one instance of 5) in this operation.

Ha, OK, and indeed I paid with a credit card and not
cash, so while the cashier initially asked for $19.55
I ended up paying $19.54 with my credit card.

I hope to get to looking at the Posner molecule/quantum
computing stuff sometime soon, though my four
components stuff has been distracting me, and I also
will have to move my office on Tuesday, and have
been putting off some collaboration on two new
papers with my supervisor and other coauthors.
Also I need to do my tax return and update my CV.

Also I need to do my tax returns.
I did all my returns early this year. (Federal & Provincial for Me & my
wife.) I notice that for the ones I needed to pay, the cheques were all
cashed effective the date on the cheque = 30 April.

But for my Federal, my 'personal' logon account says to wait until May 29
just to find out when they might be able to send a cheque.
